* A REAL PRlZE WlNNER! ...
The Washington Post held a taste test asking three chefs to sample nine brands of olive oil. The top finishers were L'huille d'0live, 0lio Beato (rated 1O out of 1O) and Pornanino Farm. l have not tried the remaining two winners, but after tasting 0lio Beato l did not feel there was a need to go on searching for a quality oil. This was it! No question about it!
This limited edition 1OO% organic extra virgin ltalian olive oil is cultivated, pressed and packaged in Bari.
lt is not easy to describe it except to say that it is light and smooth. l sampled it along with an American organic extra virgin olive oil and it had a slight cloying taste and seemed heavier. So l am hooked on 0lio Beato. l would be hard to go back to any other l've used in the past as it would be a step down in quality and taste pleasure.
